See my Substack publication S'Now'Den for my complete works.
I have works appearing in The Intercept, The Nation, DNAinfo, Inside Climate News, Indypendent, LIC Post, Untapped Cities, and others. Besides hard investigative and breaking news reporting, I've also provided database services and developed interactive maps for myself and other journalists. Besdies my meddle, my technical skill is one of my most valuable assets as a reporter.
Most of my work has been focused on New York City, it's government, it's police department, it's real estate developers, and its crime. (Non-mutually exclusive categories.) But then fate took me to Ukraine, where I experineced the start of the war. I've seen missile strikes in multple cities, experienced rolling blackouts in the winter, and interviewed refugees in six countries. In the States, I've traveled nationally for protests and riots. I've reported from Portland, Oakland, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Tampa, Cleveland, and New York. I've written exposes on the NYPD, the mayor, the MTA, and even FBI. Avid FOILer
